This is an all-new Marilyn Monroe trading card set featuring photos never-before-seen on trading cards! Each full-bleed image (no borders) features an amazing photo of our Miss Norma Jean. Each card is also finished with gold glitter highlights (an industry first) which enhances each image to make every photo more dazzling then ever.

The card backs have EXTENSIVE text about the life & work of Marilyn as well as detailed information about her film roles & most notable events in her life.

All of the photos of Marilyn in this card set are by legendary photographer Sam Shaw,who began his career doing photographs for Collier\'s Magazine in the 1940\'s but soon found that his interest lay more in documentary work than the staged studio shots he was asked to do.

By 1951 he had started working in the film industry as a special photographer and his work on The Seven Year Itch created the iconic image of Marilyn over the subway grate. He met and began working with her early in her career and continued to shoot her through most of her professional life. Not only did Sam Shaw create some of classic Hollywood\'s most celebrated images, but he was also a pioneer to a new artistic style and technique that paved the way for independent filmaking.

This set is a must have for all collectors. They were printed in a limited print run & were a complete sell-out by the manufacturer as soon as they were released!
