Shown here is a 10.25" long tin friction powered 1952 Ford Customline 2 door sedan made by Marusan Kosuge of Japan in the early 1950s.Called the "Hit Friction Car"by SAN, the toy isexceptionally cleanand invery good100% original condition with all parts intact including original box and protective tissue. It has a strong friction motor with motor sound as well. Thedove grayfinish has a fantastic luster with no dents or dings. There is someminor roughness and a couple small age spots to paint in center ofroof of which I\'m guessing came from being in contact with the box lid for so many years. This does nothing to take away from the awesome good looks of the car andthe finishisjust pristine otherwise. Chrome trim and hubcaps all have a brilliant shine and other than a smallspot ofcorrosion on the front bumper there is no tarnish or oxidation. Highly detailed interior is just like new. Plastic window"glass"is still clear but it is kind of deformed and has shrunk back pulling loose in a couple spots.Glossy black chassisshows some minor wear. Rubber treaded tires are allin goodshape with no cracks. Attractive tri tone hubcaps are allflawless and look just stunning. Friction motor runs like new; long and strong with an awesome motor noise sound box.Not too well known is the fact that Marusan made this car about the same time as their very popular 1951 Cadillac, and both cars share the same rear license plate. Rare original box has awesome graphics and it is completewith original factory protective tissue covering for the car. There are no offending odors. Some stains and a few old penciled letters done by a child\'s hand can be seen.Box has had some correct cardboard color paper back tape repair to inside. This very desirable tinplate toy caris made especially enticing with a low, low starting offer and .......as always.
