An original and moving tribute to 2 soldiers of the 2nd New Hampshire Volunteers who died at Camp Beaufort, Maryland- a lithograph Memorial with patriotic illustration titled \" In Memoriam Edgar D Kenaston and Solon F Porter late Members of Co I, 2nd Regiment NH Volunteers By Norman Gunnison Company I Second Regiment NH Vols, Camp Beaufort, April 3, 1862\". The moving memorial by Private Gunnison to his dead comrades has, on the reverse 7 other poems written by soldier/poet by Gunnison, clipped from period newspapers.This Memorial was in a scrapbook and is trimmed in the shape of a soldier\'s gravestone.
