This sale is for a rare pair of Amperex Philips SQ or Special Quality type 6922 tubes, otherwise known as the E88CC. These have the Philips label, gold pins, and these have early 1960s date codes, with the large halo getter. These have been tested on our Hickok USM118B and read above 10,000 Gm, and matched within 5%, with test results in Gm for each triode written on a data label on each box. Minimum good is 9500. These sound superb in tube CD players and line stages of tube preamps and microphone preamps (like the Avalon) calling for the 6922 tubes. The picture is representative as we have several pairs of these we will sale. The quality of the labels on the glass may vary from the picture due to age of the tubes. Satisfaction guaranteed.
