This is a truly charming original painting by well-known British Naive School artistMaud Bullen (1906-1993).

Mullenlived in Dorking, Surrey. She was physicallyhandicapped and learned to paint while studying with the well-loved German-born art instructor Ursula Hulme. She participated in numerous exhibitions and her work is collected by a large following of admirers in the UK, Canada and the US.
