Memoirs of Empress Josephine Complete Two Volume Set Part of Courtiers and Favorites of Royalty. Published by Societe Des Biblophiles The Versailles Edition limited to Five Hundred Sets Number 308 (handwritten in small hand). No stated publishing date or copyright circa early 1900’s. With a few illustrations including frontispiece. Light purple pebbled textured hard cover with gilt border and design. Gilt lettering and motif on spine. Fore and bottom edges of text block rough cut. 387 and 372 pages respectively.

Hard covers are clean showing very minor wear. One volume has darkened area on back cover. Spines have darkened and gilt is no longer bright. Bindings are solid. Pages are clean. May be a few very minor discolorations or foxing. No writing, notes, marks, underlining, highlighting or inscriptions. You might detect a slight mustyodor if you have asensitive nose.
