EXCELLENT (NEW SEALED)CONDITION

This sale is for a large size (Huge) quality hardback FIRST FOLIO SOCIETY EDITION entitled “Michelangelo,” by Howard Hibbard, with 219 illustrations, many in COLOUR.

It was published by The Folio Society of London, and is the 2007 FIRST FOLIO SOCIETY EDITION.

The contents include:

· Preface

· Author’s Introduction

· The Prodigy

· The Sistine Chapel and its Aftermath

· Medicean Florence with a Republican Interlude 1519-1534

· Rome 1534-1564

The book measures 11.5 inches x 9.1 inches x 1.25 inches (a little bigger in its slipcase) and has 278 pages (including illustrations).

The book is in very good clean and neat condition - still on original shrinkwrap (photo is of an identical copy just sold). The binding is excellentwith no loose or missing pages. There are NO inscriptions/book-plates and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The slipcase is in very good condition.
