This is the Freshman Year for Milton Caniff, famedcartoonist. This is probably theFIRST cartoon work that he had published! There are THREE individual, FULL-PAGE cartoons by him (pix 1-3)! He is featured as an ARTIST on theNEWS STAFF but I could not identify him in the picture andI underlined his name inthe scan ONLY, the line is NOT in the book! There areof two pictures of the Freshman Class. Again, I could not identify him, andI underlined his name inthe scanONLY, the line is NOT in the book! The book itself is in wonderful condition. The paper cover is ragged, as is common in books where the cover overlaps the contents. The binding is rock-solid. As you can see from pix 9-11, it is bound by a cord, but it is bound at the spine as well. Please note, remembering this book is over 90 years old, that the light from the scanner has made the color more vivid than it actually is. There are no signatures.
