THIS IS GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC...UNLIKE MANY FAKES THAT ARE ONLINE FROM CRYSTAL SHOPS IN PARIS ETC.
THERE IS A LOT OF DETAIL IN THIS PIECE AND THE SIGNATURE IS VERY CLEAR ON THE BOTTOM. IT HAS BEEN IN A DISPLAY CABINET ALONG WITH OTHER PIECES FOR A WHILE. THIS IS IN PERFECT CONDITION...NO DINGS OR CHIPS....SOME TINYSCRATCHES ON THE BOTTOM FROM USE..SUCH AS SLIDING RIGHT OR LEFT BUT NOT DAMAGE.
This fine piece was designed by Marie Lalique in the 1950, and continues to be sold on the Lalique web site at $950.00The unique shape of this vase, with its short bowl and wide mouth, lends to its appeal. The alternating sparrows and vines are enhanced by the traditional Lalique satin-finish.
