This is a decent recreation/reproduction of a model 1873 US Army Springfield Trowel Bayonet & Scabbard made by the famous Windlass Steelcrafts Company! Blade is 10\" long & about 3 1/2\" wide. It\'s just like the originals with twisting socket to lock it on your muzzle end. Leather scabbard with brass hardware & brass US button/rosette. They have variations of where the belt loop is sewed on. Some on one side & some on the other. Has no maker markings. These are for the US Springfield Trapdoor Rifle. The Inside diameter of hole is .74 (about 3/4\" of an inch). Easily sanded/filed larger if needed. Buy it here at a fair price represented as what it is, or buy it being passed off as original for big $ somewhere else (as often is the case with these). These are decent quality & Great for re-enacting or Display, etc. Authentic looking set &have been extremely hard for me to get. Please view my other sales for more exciting items!
