- DESIGN: A simple yet striking Space Age Danish Modern Walnut bent plywood sculptural base form table lamp in the manner of Danish Modernist Verner Panton\'s bold textile graphics, manufactured by Modeline lighting designs circa 196o\'s. The highly sculptural base is expertly crafted from Walnut veneer plywood bent/molded to shape utilizing the same heat/steam process as that which created the first Eames/Herman Miller bent plywood chairs. Complete with contemporary Linen drum shade which compliments the sculpture perfectly while casting the ideal light upon the shapely surface.
- CONDITION: This Atomic Modern Sculptural graphic lamp is in outstanding original condition, completely intact andfully functional. The extreme, shapely Walnut bent plywood form base exhibits just faint signs of wear & age with no damage or repair evident. The White Linen-like shade is a contemporary refabrication of the original and a perfect compliment to the tone and texture of the sculpture. The signature Modeline bakelite pull chain socket and power cord are original and have been inspected and are clean, safe and functional...Modeline manufacture decal is completely intact.
- DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 32\" tall overall with a width of 12\" to the base sculpture, the shade is 16\" diameter…bulb is NOT included.
