Moore fountain pen, model L-92x, in smooth black hard rubber and gold filled trim. Rare model with bands at top of cap and bottom of barrel, wide band at cap lip.

Moore No. 2 nib, fine to medium with a good amount of flex. As you can see from from the writing samples, with pressure the downstrokes can be quite wide, providing lots of line variation. It\'s not overly flexible, though, and ist great for everyday writing. It\'s very much in the style of Moore\'s \'Maniflex\' nib -- flexible, yet capable of writing through multiple copies.

Lever filler, restored and working with a new sac installed. Length about 5 3/8 inches.

The writing samples are made using the pen itself, dipped in Waterman Intense Black blackink.The paper is a Rhodia pad with 5mm squares.
