Offered for offerding is alovely MORIMURA / NORITAKE handled bowl made in Japan. It has a hand painted floral pattern with multicolored rose buds and leaves, and a center medallion of three roses. The back side of the dish is glossy white, and there is a line of shiny metallic gold around the edge with a raised beaded texture. It bears the red \"M\" NIPPON mark in blue on the back (picture 4) which dates to 1910 or 1911, so this dish is well over 100 years old.

It measures 7 3/8 inches (18.7cm) in from handle to handle, and stands 1 3/4 inches (4.4cm) tall at the handles. A U.S. quarter is shown in the first two pictures, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.

There are no chips, cracks or scratches on the dish, and no crazing or discoloration of the glaze. There some slight wear to the gold trim. It\'s in excellent condition for a piece this old.
