This is a nice antique gilt statue

Unsigned.

Probably French and may have been part of a clock or mantle set.

Depicts a winged male muse of art. Holding a palette and torch while sitting on an orb.

there is writing under the orb on a ribbon that says: CEN\'E ART

Great depiction

Late 1800\'s or thereabouts.

8.5\" tall

made of metal which I believe is bronze by the color on the bottom of the sculpture.

gilt is in good condition.

The only condition issue is a few small marks on his belly and right hand and there is a small hole in the top of his head.

Nice classical design.
