Fresh from a Massachusetts estate we bring you thisbeautiful pastel titled lower left on the matting \"Old Mountains\" and signed by the artist Maggie Pomfret, \"M. Pomfret\" lower right. It is also signed and dated 1966 on the back. The pastel is in a stunning gold gilt frame, there is some damage lower right and we do have the piece that will be included for repair. Overall measurements are 24 1/2\" by 21\" and image measures 15 1/4\" by 11 1/4\". We do see a listed artist Margaret Pomfret, not sure if they are one in the same. The scene reminds me of the mountains in Ireland but I am sure it could be anywhere in the world. Please see pictures and ask any questions.
