Magnificent Walnut Victorian High Back Highly Carved Parlor Chair circa 1850 :

Offered for sale is a gorgeous Victorian Parlor Chair circa 1850. Made of solid walnut, the chair features deep rose carvings at the crest. An oval padded back is flanked by pierced carved leaves(kind of like Black Forest carvings). The padded arms end in Eagleheads. The seat rail is a deep serpentine shape. The green velvet fabric is in excellent condition~with slight discoloration at the top of the oval. The chair is solid and heavy, built to last. This truly is a magnificent chair sure to grab the attention of all who see it.
