For sale today is a vintageMAR Toys SAND & GRAVEL Dump Truck. This is one of my FAVORITE old trucks. It\'s a real JEWEL! I like it because the style of the body has a \"Stub Nose\" or some people call it a \"Bull Nose\"look to it. My Dad (Wally) used to own a Stub Nose truck, and I would ride in it with him a lot when I was a youngster. Another reason I like this particular truckis becauseboth the Cab and the Dumb Boxon this truck is primarilypainted in \"GOLD\". I don\'t know how many of these GOLD ones were originally produced, but I have not seen too many of them come up for sale, especially one in this nice of condition. I estimate that the original paint on this truck isover 93% still there.Take a look at how completely WHITE the underside of the Cab is. This is one really CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL collector\'s piece. They really did an excellent job of building and painting these trucks back then. They just don\'t make them like this anymore!

I really enjoy collecting these old Sand & Gravel, or Coal & Coke dump trucks. The look similar, but believe me, there are lots of little different nuances, primarily in the design of the Cab and in the Litho and in the GRILL design. I have quite a few of these special vintage trucks.Ihave begun to sell my collection. I even have some of these trucks that have a big Front SCOOP on them for sale! I am by no means an expert. I just liked the way they look, so I started to collect them. Please take a look at my store. Many more will be listed in the weeks ahead. I am having second thoughts about selling this one. Hope it goes to the nice home of a collector who will enjoy it as much as I do.

The Grill is all there and still firmly attached, with lots of nice detailed Litho (just look at the Head lights)! All four of the Wheels are still the original matching black hard RUBBERtires, and they are in great condition! The old MAR TOYScircle Logo is on the very rear of the dump box in the upper right hand corner. The LITHO is, in my opinion, in excellent condition, very clear and legible. The Axels are both nice and straight, and the truck rolls smoothly. This truck is approximately 12 inches Long. There is almost norust on this old beauty. This 60 year old dump truck musthave been played with great love and care. Because I see no major dings, dents, big scratches or other signs of abuse.
