This is a beautiful shallow narrow platter by the highly respected Minnesota ceramic artistMaren Kloppmann. If you are unfamiliar with Ms.Kloppmann\'s work a quick internet search will fill you in on her career. Ms. Kloppmann is best known for her sculptural pieces and wall installations. Her functional work is not only beautiful, but pushes the boundary with more design elements. Beautifully done, a pleasure to look at, and also functional.The shallow platter is expertly done and is beautifully colored. It was originally bought at Warren Mackenzie\'s studio where several of his precious students used to display and sell their work along side of his. The piece has never been used and is in new, unused condition.The shallow platter is 15.25\"L X 1.6\"T X 4.75\"W. Ms. Kloppmann has stamped the piece on the bottom of the platter.
