I am pleased to offer this original oil painting by listed California artist Marjorie Reed. Titled Crossing the Sulphur Springs Valley, the image measures 12\" by 16\", the outside dimensions of the carved wooden frame measure 21\" by 26\".Provenance: As shown in the verso photo, this was painted for Josie and Sam Moseley who were friends of Marjorie\'s. Josie grew up on a ranch near Fort Bowie in Apache Pass in the early 1900s.As also can be seen on the verso photo, this was the study for a larger piece which was part of the Arizona Butterfield Series now in the permanent collection of the Arizona Historical Society in Papago Buttes.
