Ornate design with Nelson\'s \"M.N\" hallmark on reverse as pictured. No monogram. Spoon is About 4 3/4\" long and weighs about 8 grams.

Mark Nelson was born in 1733, Newington NH to Mark Nelson (1708-1765) a Cordwainer by trade; and Elizabeth Kennard (1707-1742) Elizabeth was a daughter of Captain John Kennard of New Hampshire (1683-1736) and Elizabeth Alkins (1688-1763) His grandfather was Matthew Nelson who died in 1713 in Portsmouth.

Mark Nelson was Married to Hannah Hunter on 5 Jul 1759 in Portsmouth NH. He Died on 8 Jan 1787 in Portsmouth NH at age of 54.
