RETURN POLICY


You have 30 days from the original purchase of your item to process a return. Returns are only accepted if the item is still in its original wrapper and has not been used. If you send back an item that is used or has been removed from its original wrapper your return request will be denied and the item will be shipped back to you. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping fees. a 10% restocking fee may be applied to anyreturn.

Warranty PolicyEligible Products

Marucci Sports offers a warranty policy on our Pro Model and Custom Pro wood bats; and our aluminium and composite metal bats. We do not currently offer a warranty policy on our apparel, accessories, or other products.

Wood Bat Warranty

Marucci Sports now offers a one-time 30-day warranty on all Pro Model and Custom Pro Wood Bats. The warranty is included with purchase of bats from maruccisports.com. If bats are purchased elsewhere, customer must register their batherewithin 7 days of purchase. Customers do not need to register bats purchased from maruccisports.com.

Aluminum and Composite Bat Warranty

Marucci provides customers with a one-time replacement within 12 months from the date of purchase. To qualify for warranty service, you must be the original bat owner and provide proof of purchase from an authorized Marucci dealer. We do not warranty any product purchased from or through a third party, including but not limited to Craigslist, and other non-authorized retailers. Clearance bats priced under $50 are not backed by a warranty. The Marucci warranty covers the following things:

  1. Severe dents resulting from normal use
  2. Structural cracks resulting from normal use

Requirement of Tender

As a condition of any warranty claim, the bat and a valid receipt from an authorized Marucci dealer are tendered to Marucci at the address listed below. Warranties will not be honored unless the bat and receipt are tendered. All product returned under warranty will be reviewed by our qualified staff. If it is determined that your bat is covered under warranty, Marucci will send you either a repaired or replacement bat of the same model and size. We reserve the right to perform testing to determine if the bat meets warranty requirements and/or to refuse warranty service to any person who, in the judgment of Marucci, abuses the Marucci product and/or warranty policy. Marucci also reserves the right to substitute a similar product as a replacement, if necessary.

Sole and Exclusive Warranty

The warranty provided herein is the sole and exclusive warranty provided for Marucci non-wood bats. Marucci disclaims and the purchaser waives all other express or implied warranties including but not limited to the warranty against redhibitory vices and hidden defects, the warranty that the product is fit for its intended purpose and the warranty that the product is of a specified kind or quality.

BBCOR and Other Certifications

Any marking, graphic or sticker applied to a Marucci bat indicating that it is BBCOR certified or compliant or that the bat has obtained some other certification or approval from a third party shall only constitute a representation that the bat was so certified or approved at the time of purchase and not at any later time. Should a bat that was certified or approved at the time of purchase subsequently lose that certification or approval, Marucci may or may not, at its sole option, develop a program for retrofitting, repairing or replacing the bat and/or providing a voucher to be applied toward purchases of Marucci products. In such cases, the remedies provided under the program shall be the sole and exclusive remedies available to affected bat owners.

Sole and Exclusive Remedy

The remedies provided herein, repair or replacement, are the sole remedies available and purchaser waives all other remedies including but not limited to recovery of consequential damages, attorneys fees and legal expenses. In the event of legal proceedings or arbitration, purchaser agrees that any monetary recovery will be limited to the purchase price of the bat.

Dispute Resolution

In the event that any dispute regarding any condition of a Marucci bat or any warranty claim cannot be resolved, purchaser and Marucci agree that the dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and that Louisiana law shall be applicable to the resolution of the dispute.

Exchanges (Aluminum/Composite Bats)

If you purchased your metal bat atmaruccisports.com, you may exchange your bat within 90 days from the date of purchase. Bats must be new, unused, in their original packaging, and include proof of purchase. Marucci will not exchange any engraved or used bats. If the customer wishes to exchange the bat for a different priced bat, the customer will either pay or be refunded the difference in price between the two bats. Replacement product on exchanges will be shipped within 7 business days.

Returns (Aluminum/Composite Bats)

If you purchased your metal bat atmaruccisports.com, you may return your bat within 30 days from the date of purchase. Bats must be new, unused, in their original packaging, and include proof of purchase. For qualifying returns, Marucci will issue a refund to your credit card within 5 business days from the date we process your return. Refunds will not include the original shipping and handling costs and will be subject to a $9.99 restocking fee.

Bat End Caps: Normal Wear and Tear

End cap wear and tear is common and comes from normal, everyday use of bats. Sliding bats into dugout cubbies, dropping bats on the ground, hitting balls off the end cap, and many other various everyday instances can cause minor damage to end caps. Below are images showing some very common end cap blemishes. These signs of normal wear and tear have no effect on the performance or structural integrity of the bat.

Some people assume when these signs of wear and tear appear that their end cap might be separating from the barrel of the bat, but this is generally not the case. The pressure created by dropping the bat on the end cap can cause a spur, which eventually breaks off and leaves a small gap at the base of the cap. An example of that scenario is pictured above. This too has no effect on the overall performance or structural integrity of the bat and is not a cause for replacement.

You can do a few things to avoid these general types of wear and tear, such as not dropping or hitting the endcap of the bat on solid or hard surfaces, however if you notice some of these signs of wear and tear do not be alarmed as these are normal and come with the everyday use and nature of baseball bats.

CAT6 Anti-Vibration Knob

The CAT6 line of bats including BBCOR, SL -5, SL -8, and JBB -10 is the only bat line on the market that incorporates Marucci’s patented anti-vibration technology. This technology can be found within the knob of all CAT6 bats. Within that knob is a harmonic dampener made from vibration-absorbing materials used to absorb and help eliminate any harsh vibrations or “sting” that is produced at contact.

This rubber harmonic dampener within the knob of the CAT6 will come secured in place straight from production. After a few hits with a CAT6, the harmonic dampener will loosen within the knob casing. Once the harmonic dampener loosens to its engineered state, then technology really starts to take effect. Having the harmonic dampener slightly loose within the knob of the bat allows the unwanted sting and vibrations that normally move up and down a bat to be caught and absorbed within the harmonic dampener.

Being that the harmonic dampener is slightly loose within the knob of the CAT6, a different and some would call “dead” or “rattling” sound, is produced when/if the knob is tapped or if the bat hits the ground in any way.

We want you to know this sound is completely normal and is expected. The reason you hear this particular sound is due to the vibration-reducing dampener absorbing and trapping vibrations that are being produced in the bat during any type of contact.

Many people assume that their Cat 6 bat is “dead” or “rattling” when they hear this sound, and we promise you that is not the case. This is normal and is in fact, technology at work.
