Staples: Tight with small creases at the cover attachment

Grade: VG-

Noted defect(s): General cover creasing/indentations from repeated handling, minor amount of stress lines/creasing along the spine, scuffing present along the spine, ½” spine split on the top end, and small pieces out on both ends of the spine seen on the back cover.

Significance: This issue features the second appearance of Iron Man in the new costume and has a nice, glossy cover.

Please note: This comic book is part of the Southern California Comics Collection: The original owner, Lara “Jerry” Fuller, purchased most of the comics brand new in the early 1950s. Our store acquired the collection from the inheritors of her estate in 2013 and verified that most of the comics were purchased new by Lara. She stopped buying new comics upon her death. The collection is significant in its size and scope encompassing nearly 30,000 comics. Many of the copies are high grade, having been handled lightly and stored for decades. Enclosed in the back of the comic book bag is a Certificate of Authenticity.
