Marvel Special Edition #15 from December 1973This issue is the first appearance of the Master of Kung Fu, Shang-Chi, who goes on to star in his own titles, in both magazine and comic formats. This issue is also the first time Fu Manchu and Dr Denis Nayland Smith make their appearances in the Marvel Universe.This issue also features the art of writing of comics legend Jim Starlin.Shang-Chi has often teamed up with Iron Fist, and with Iron Fist now set to get his own Netflix series, perhaps Shang Chi will make some on-screen appearances, as well. Also, recently during the Marvel NOW! relaunch Shang-Chi joined the Avengers, making him known to a whole new batch of young collectors.This copy has recently been strictly graded by relatively new, but well respected, 3rd party grading company CBCS at a 8.0 with Off-White to White pages.
