Here isMaryann’s 1820s sampler. We had to look carefully to see that she made her zeroa bit divergently above the line. Maryann included trees, crowns, dogs, hearts,diamonds, and if one looks carefully at the center attention among theflowering branches two white birds. Above the center, one sees a somewhat unusualalmost dinosaur like rendition. Overall Maryann’s work is a fun and warm textilepresence. As for condition, the sampler has been affixed with thread to thebacking, we see no obvious holes, but thread has become faded and missing in afew areas. Please review the photos and we are pleased to answer questions. Themeasurements are approx. Frame 15” by 11.75” – sampler 13.25” by 11.25”.Shipping shown includes the frame and glass.
