This sale is fora Massive, Antique, probably French,marble &bronze figuralclock.I am not familiar with clocks so much so I\'m describing what I am looking at: The clock case is a reddishmarble withblack marble extension. The extension has a scroll bronze applied decoration. On the case and on the base are two most beautiful bronze (or spelter) statues of German Shepherds. One is lying down, the other standing, and both are looking expectantly at the same direction.I am told by a knowledgeable collector, that the dogs are by the sculptor Louis Albert Carvin. I have taken a picture of the works. Since the clock is over wound, I cannot say if it works. Therefore it is sold as is. Roman numeral face. Glass bezel.Measures about 21\" tall and 18\" long, 8\" deep.Please note the condition description and the provided pictures for details. This exceptional clock is a rare find and will make any clock and or dog lover forever grateful... EXTREMLY HEAVY!!!
