These beautiful circa 1850s-1870s walnut bookcases are intended to be placed side by side, and appear as one seamless piece when together. The bookcases feature all 4 panes of original wavy glass, original keys, original hardware, leather door stops, burled walnut accents, and the finish is also original and in good condition. The shelves are adjustable as well. Each bookcase has a large drawer on the bottom. The decorative finials do come right off for ease of moving.

The person I purchased these from told me that these were part of Senator Lodge\'s estate and were in his office. I don\'t have validation of this claim but it\'s a neat story that would be a shame not to pass with finials: 89\"
