Mathew Brady cabinet card, unknown portraiture, Imperial Carte de Visite, NationalPortrait Galleries(approx.4 1/4x6 1/2inches including mount).Mathew B. Brady (1822 – 1896), one of the first American photographers, best known for his scenes of the Civil War.The mount is very soiled/marked,and worn onthe corners.The photographic paper is also marked. There is also a scratch, and some damage along the top edge.
