This medal is for the Order of Australia General Division. It is awarded to Australian citizens in recognition foroutstanding achievement and service. The medal is a gold-plated silver featuring a star burst theme with a Queens Crown at the top. Its centre is inscribed with the word ‘Australia’ with two sprigs of mimosa. The ribbon is blue with a centre panel of gold coloured star bursts. It is attached to a purpose made brooch pin The medal is in Extremely Fine condition and inscribed to the reverse with the recipient’s name; Boris Trajkov. Beneath this it os impressed RAM, presumably Royal Australian Mint. Weight: 34gm with ribbon We have listed other pieces of militaria and sweetheart brooches this week.
