Here is a very eye-catching piece of hand carved workmanship. This meerschaum pipe has been in my family for generations, handed down since the late 1800\'s I know. It measures 6\" in length and the width is about 2\". The intricate carvings depict a man with his rifle on one side and his hunting dog in action on the other. The coloring over the years is just gorgeous, very rich with many deep tones that fade into each other. Also notice the stem/mouthpiece is a stunning transparent blood red hue when the light hits it (see photos). The stem does not detach from the main body of the pipe anymore. The bowl detaches fine but is partially burned out at the bottom. Would definitely need replacing if you want to smoke with it. Remember this pipe is an antique and being sold \"as is\" so please look at all photos carefully for any flaws that may bother your individual taste.
