This is a mega collection of amazingknobs from years of picking the up at Hamfests, pulling them offnon-working units, and generally having them around for repairs. Thiscollection is incredibly diverse in eras (from the 1920s through the1980s) and types of knobs (from wood to Dakaware deco to MIJ stereocomponent knobs to amazing metal knobs to even some oddball oldappliance knobs from the 60s!). There are multiples of many, andsingles of some as well of both D-shaft and circle with set screws. These took up several drawers in my house. Any time I had a repairmissing a knob or wanted to spruce up the knobs on something, I\'d digthrough the drawer and see what I had that was a match / was close /fit the pot shaft. Countless times, a piece of equipment would bemissing a knob and I could find a replacement (and as you know, nothing sinks the value of something more than just missing a knob).I am only selling these now because we are selling off non-essentialmusic equipment and I am no longer collecting or repairing audiocomponents. In addition to the repair element, there are great piecesin here for builds of pedals, amps, rack units, ham projects, andother oddities. This type of collection would take years to accrue, and after you use the second knob from the pile, you have more thanmade your money back, as I am pricing these very low (less than 5cents a knob!). These knobs are all in old, used condition. Some needa cleaning, others have a crack/piece missing, some are missing theset screws. Because of the nature of the lot (big and cheap!) thereare absolutely no refunds, so please please please look at all of thepictures closely and ask any and all questions in advance! That beingsaid, the price on these is so low, it\'s lower than flea markets, hamfests, or junk stores (and it\'s way cooler stuff as it\'s from somany different places!) I\'ll try to describe these a bit:

  • 413 knobs that look like they came off various 50s/60s/70s stereo components including integrated amplifiers, tabletop radios, consoles, and turntables. Some of these are bagged separately because they belonged to particular integrated amps (ex: Pioneer, Sony), some can be inferred (ex: the Philcos), and others are a mystery to me. Some of these also came off vintage test equipment, which in my opinion have some of the coolest knobs. Obviously these can all

  • 17 amazing heavy metal knobs that look like they came off high-end 50s hi-fis.

  • 9 antique, wooden knobs.

  • 30 oddball knobs and such from various vintage things as widely varied as car door lock knobs (various varieties from the 50s/60s), to refrigerator knobs, to test equipment. Wild stuff, but once in a great while they find a home.

The ability to have this collection ofknobs on-hand and not have to go searching for a knob online is soincredibly valuable. It saves time, it saves money, and you get toactually touch and examine the knobs. It would be an amazing lot fora repair person or for a boutique builder or the collector. This is acrazy lot of knobs at a crazy price (less than 5 cents a piece!),don\'t miss out!
