A cute, and extremely rare, 1950s Austrian \'Vogel Wien\' teddy bear, called Angelo. Made in the style of a teddy baby, with an open felt-lined mouth and playful down-turned paws, Angelo has an inscribed metal ID tag attached to his right ear with black-green cord. This top quality ted is completely original and measures 30 cms (12\") tall. Woodwool-stuffed, Angelo has a working squeaker, and back-painted glass eyes now worn mostly clear, plus a signature metal nose. His felt pads are in good condition, though both feet have darned repairs. All his claws are intact. Apart from his head being a tad wobbly, but secure, Angelo is lovely bear, with plenty of caramel-coloured mohair. Having originated in Vienna, home of the world famous Vienna Boys\' Choir, Angelo is wearing his charming chorister\'s outfit. This has been handmade from a Victorian nightgown embroidered with his name initial, and a collar from the same garment. He also wears a guiding star sterling silver pendant, and travels with his \'Angelic Voices\' CD - entitled The Best of the Vienna Boys\' Choir. Angelo is a bit of a star himself!
