This is a a very attractive Meiji period Satsuma lamp that was originally made for kerosene. The base and fittings have been professionally burnished, and the base gold color of the ceramic part of the lamp, it shines beautifully.In good working order, it measures 15 inches to the top of the fixture, without the harp, and is approx 8 inches wide. The switch is in the center of the base, as shown.Please study the pictures carefully as they best describe the condition of this lovely lamp.
