Large (1.75\") Meiji Satsuma button with six beautiful butterflies and two flowers. It has an unusual and fancy border outlined in gold. The back has the Shimazu family crest and an unknown (to me!) cartouche. The button is in good condition with a few imperfections as clearly seen in the photographs. It dates from the late1800\'s to 1920. Please look at all photographs carefully and ask any questions as all sales are final.
