A wonderful Meissen Blue FloralAshtray.Item is signed at the base with the usual cross sword mark in blue under the glaze for Meissen Porcelain. A truly quality item. Now I see why people love their Meissen! This is an item I would like tokeep except for the fact that I am an ex-smoker and this piece makes smoking look glamorous.

Condition reportTheitem is in excellent vintagecondition, with no issues noted other than perhaps some wear to thegold filigree around the floral center. I have examined this item under magnification and I believe it to be hand painted. The gold filigree is stenciled rather than freehand. Impressed into the porcelain on the base and almost invisible are the marks\"L 214\" If I can get a picture of this I will upload it.I have never even seen a piece of Meissen before, except for the Antiques Road Show. limits the number of pictures that I can post, just contact me and I will send you more.Conchise The Cat says its purrrfect but wishes itwere not an ashtray.I have mentioned all issues that I note.
