It has 18 coloured plates after H Alken and TJ Rawlins in excellent condition and colour. Bound in red cloth. The first edition has three [3] plates not included in later editions. Nimrod was his country neighbour. Dust jacket not original. Bookseller\'s tag not related to this edition just provided for additional information.The career of \'Mad Jack\' Mytton [1796-1834] illustrates the eccentricity of the period. His wealth & position in society enabled him to lead a life of extravagance with his fearless exploits tending towards irrational. He died in a debtor\'s prison at the age of 38.
