This is a stunning Men\'s Organizer/Jewelry/Trinket Box that is beautifully made by an unknown (to us) master woodworker. It has a beautiful Burl Walnut Inlay on the lid, intricate dove-tail joints on the corners, and a spline joint on the lid corners. Over the years we have had some great boxes, this one compares with any of them including the fine French antique boxes of Tahan, Giroux, and even modern day Ellie Bleu. Sadly, there is no signature or indication of the wood artist responsible. Please look closely at the photos to see this craftsmanship for yourself. Notice the perfect fit of the dovetails, the inlays, and the splining. It has a small drawer on the lower portion with 9 divided sections. The top compatment also has nine sections about 2 inches square and another larger section, all are lined with black felt that fits perfectly. On the inside of the lid is a red tinted mirror. The lid measures 13.25 inches long, 9.5 inches wide, and the box is 5.25 inches tall. It weighs nearly 6 pounds. If you want a nicely crafted wood box in your man-cave, we recommend this one. We so wish we knew where it came from but anyway...We will list it for $225.00 or best offer and see what happens. It may not appeal to everyone but if you have ever tried to do exacting woodwork, you will appreciate this one. We will ship it for the actual cost of shipping and discuss shipping options with the buyer. We cannot imagine anyone returning this one but we always invite returns if you do not absolutely love your purchase.
