This is a magnificent original Hamilton \"Boulton\" men\'s wristwatch with the famous, 19 jewel 982 movement. This watch has quite a fancy curved case & extended lug configuration. The dramatic styled case features all high polished top, sides, bezel and bold extended curved drop curved lugs. The case back is also all gold filled, and also has an all high polished finish. The case is 22.75mm wide (not counting the stem or crown) by 37.15mm Lug to Lug. This gorgeous vintage watch is powered by its High Grade All American made, original Hamilton Hallmarked, Caliber 982, Gold Medallion, 19 Jewel, Gold Jewel Settings, Precision manual wind movement. This Classic timepiece has a beautiful dial. The background has a finely textured silvered \"Oyster\" finish with bold 14 Karat Yellow Gold Arabic applied numbers. The Hamilton logo, the subsidiary seconds register and outer minute track are trimmed in black enamel. This watch has even managed to maintain its original \"Alpha\" style hands. Also, amazingly this OUTSTANDING Hamilton still has its original High Dome curved crystal! This watch is currently mated to a tasteful Kreisler band with faceted panels on either side and recessed chrome insets. Dating to early 1948, this watch has survived without the excessive wear often associated with better watches (the better the watch, the longer it was worn!)
