Before purchasing this item, please verify that your vehicle is equipped with the 722.6 transmission by locating the 24 digit transmission identification number that is stamped onto the aluminum pan rail on the passenger (right) side of the vehicle. This will require getting underneath the vehicle, but does not require any disassembly. When you locate the identification number, you will see the digits “722” in the middle. This indicates that the transmission is an automatic. If the next number is a six (6), then this is the correct dipstick for your vehicle.
