Absolutely gorgeous Meriden 4-piece tea set in the pattern \"French Villa\".Set comprises TeaPot, Hotwater Pot, cream and sugar.The largest post stands 7 inches high and approx 9 inches wide including spout.This has never been used judging by the condition of the interiors of the set. It has been kept behind glass for years and doesn\'t even show the light scratches usually seen from polishing. No pickle spots or plate loss.Note the Japanese influenced swing handles, which look woven and attached by screws, but the handles are fixed and do not move. The pieces are intricately decorated with birds, bamboo leaves, spiders\' webs, and flowers on a hammered background.There are a few tiny marks that actually look like they were done in the manufacturing process. High quality quadruple plate set, that is a joy to look at.
