NICE.....This \"MERRY MASONS - AUTOMATIC SAND TOY\", was made by the Wolverine Co., in 1940. It is 16\" tall and made entirely of colorful, lithographed, pressed steel, with three tin masons, each with a RED plastic hod (scoop) on his back. Pour some DRY sand (included) into the tin hopper at the top of the building and the sand will flow into the red plastic hod of the top mason. Then the weight of the sand will cause thetop mason to dump his hod of sand into the hod of the second mason, who, in turn will dump his hod of sand into the hod of the bottom mason, who will finally deposit the sand into the original steel wheelbarrow (included). After the wheelbarrow is full, the actions can be repeated by dumping the sand back into the top sand hopper. TESTED and works every time! This sand toy is in excellent condition with normal, light, play wear, and a couple light scuffs, as expected for this 77 year old toy. It is COMPLETE with all THREE red plastic scoops, which are usually missing from this toy. (Will NOT work even if one of them is missing). This toy is GUARANTEED to have NO rust, dents, fading, or missing parts. The original green steel wheelbarrow is in normal, played-with, condition and functional. It\'s a rare treat to find this toy complete with ALL three RED plastic hods, wheelbarrow, and sand container. (Plus a generous supply of extra sand).
