Original finished pencil drawings on 10.5\"x12.5\" animation paper by Metalocalypse lead character designer Songgu Kwon.

Signed, and in good condition.

The band is all together and looking like a band. They wanted new promotional art for Metalocalypse\'s 3rd season. I drew them looking casual and slightly surly like how they might look together in a photo for an album cover. ;)

Regarding the Drawings:

These are the original character design and key animation drawings which were used for Adult Swim\'s animated show \'Metalocalypse\'. During production, these were scanned and recreated as vector line art in Flash. Once the vector version was colored and rigged (like a puppet), the animators would have the basic Flash assets they need to begin animating. In fact, some of the peripheral characters on the show were created by \"Frankensteining\" various body parts together and only exist in digital form.

So basically, unlike with old fashioned hand drawn cell animation, where a few minutes of footage might require the creation of hundreds of drawings, with Metalocalypse, there are relatively few physical drawings of characters, since the animation is done digitally in Flash.

You might notice that some of the pencil drawings are described as \"rough\" and some as \"finished\". The rough drawings were the first to be created and some are indeed rougher than others. Once I\'ve sketched out the figure, I would utilize a light table and draw afinished,clean lineversion of it. I\'ll generally list the \"finished\" version at a higher price than their \"rough\" counterpart.
