This is a big bold Mexican cantera fire opal (also referred to as boulder opal) carmel in color with a firey rainbow crystal center or eye! This huge cabochon is bezel set with a fine twisted rope surround and a beaded ball border. Simple band. All 925 sterling silver metal. The stone measures approximately 23 mm and the face of the ring measures nearly 32mm wide or just over 1 1/4 inches.

The ring is marked or stamped \"Taxco 925 Mexico\" and has a maker\'s mark or hallmark of \"JLP\". 11.2 grams

Measures size 7.5 on the ring mandrel.
