This is a wonderful piece for your Mexican Folk Art Collection. It is a carved wood niche / nicho that has been embellished by a Mexican artist from San Miguel de Allende who has hand-painted in rich tones of turquoise, copper and brown a depiction of Saint Francis. Lots of detail in the artwork. It measures 19 1/2\" x 9 3/4\" x 1 1/2\". There is a hole in the back if you wish to hang it. It has a smooth, satin varnish finish. It can be cleaned and maintained in the future with a damp cloth.
