A vintage Mexican silver brooch and screwback earrings set with wonderful curled silver decorations, vibrant metallic textured foil art glass stones meant to simulate especially colorful opals. Based on the style and lack of eagle assay mark, these likely date to the 30s or 40s. Brooch measures approx 1 1/4\" x 1 1/16\", earrings dangle portion only approx 3/4\" x 5/8\". Condition is very good with light wear, very light scratching all over, pin back is a bit bent and has minor superficial damage but of course this does not show. The knobs on the screwbacks are a bit different but both appear original.
