Fabulous, hand painted wood left hand with hand nailed tin Milagros. From a very talented tinsmith in Jalisco, Mexico.

Details:

The artist hand carved the hand, applied a layer of tin to the top and added the indented lines like a real hand. He hand nailed silver tin Milagros and added a light gold wash.

Milagros (translated \"Miracles\") are offerings to saints for healing or prayers for loved ones.

Milagros include: The focus is an Our Lady of Guadalupe Milagro in the center that blesses this beautiful hand. A man kneeling in prayer and a man standing in prayer, a leg and two arms for ailments or strength, a young woman standing, a four leaf clover for luck and a pig for food.

As with all Mexican folk art, since this is a handmade and hand painted item, any slight imperfection adds to the beauty of every piece. This makes a lovely gift and comes with a carved hole for wall hanging or ornament.
