Michael Powolny Bertholde Löffler Wiener Kunsteramische Werkstätte Boudoir :
$405.00

A boudoir lamp made by the Wiener Kunstkeramische Werkstätte. The piece was probably designed by Michael Powolny or Bertholde Loffler. Both artists also designed for the Wiener Werkstätte in the last years of the 19th century and the pre-World War II decades, in Vienna.

The Wiener Kunstkeramischee Werkstatte was the successor firm of A. Forster & Co., a firm which was famous for its figurines. It also employed designers associated with the Wiener Weristatte. The change took place in 1909. .

The piece is in excellent condition. There is a hairline crack at the rim and into thecupabout one-third of an inch in length. The outside of the cup is not affected. It appears to be a crack in the glaze only. It can be seen sixth photograph. The painting is superb. I have had Wiener Kunstkeramische figurines before and the quality of this one is as fine as theany I have owned.

The figure measures Twn [ 10.00 ] inches in height. Or, 25.50 Cms. The oval shaped base measures Four & One-Third [ 4.33 ] inches X Three & One-Half [ 3.50 ] inches. Or, 11.00 Cms. X 9.00
