Rare find! Offered is a Mid Century ca.1950\'s iron rocking chair. Wonderful design reminiscent of the early California modernist movement... ala Pacifica Designs and designers like Luther Conover, Harry Lawenda and Muriel Coleman. This movement was interested in simple modernist forms rendered in modest affordable materials. This is a perfect example of that edict. Bold and graphic, crafted in painted iron and expanded metal. Dimensions: 34\" long x 20 1/4\" wide x 34\" tall. In excellent vintage condition..and ohhh so comfortable! Dramatic... the perfect fit for a severe modernist interior.
