beautiful in style and beautiful in design Danish Modern Lounge Chair. instantly takes over a room wherever it is placed, this is a chair you do not want to pass up. Item was purchased in the late 60s in Denmark and imported to America where it only has one owner. From this original owner, I was told this chair was built in a way as to take on large amount of weight. It was made by a designer but he could not remember who. Appears it was by Illum Wikkelsø and made by Michael Lauersen or a Vladimir Kagan Piece. I cannot pinpoint it but these are the facts I do know about the piece. It has been reupholstered but may have been some time ago as some areas are likely faded. Fabric is a wool tweed upholstery from the 70s. Matching color and upholstery on the ottoman. This chair is very comfortable and contouring to the body. The upholstered headrest adjusts depending on your height. I have yet to see another chair like it. Measures
