My Dad served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was stationed in Berlin after VE day. When he came home in 1946, he brought back a lot of souvenirs from the war. We have been sorting through his memorabilia and have decided to list some of his things on . There are several dozen items - I will be listing them over the next few days. Please message me if you have any questions about the items. He was a meticulous record keeper, and left notes with almost all of the items. I will do my best to describe them in detail.
Here are 4 German pins commemorating different historic German events. They are all made of plastic.The first one is blue and white, with an excellent pin back. It recognizes \'Farm Donation\' and has the letters VDA at the bottom.The second pin commemorates the 1934-35 winter relief. It is in the worst shape, but you can still make out a large pine tree and the dates \'34-35\' at the bottom. It still has the original manufacturer label on the back, as well as a good pin back.The third is a cream colored stick pin that remembers \'The Day of the German Mother\'. It is in excellent condition.The final pin symbolizes \'war welfare\' in 1935. It also has a good pin back.
