I first thought this was just a miniature hat. But, looking into them, I found these little hats were used as gift certificates. Not salesmen samples. The green felt hat measures approximately 4 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. The cardboard box is oval 3 1/2 x 4 and 2 3/4 high. This hat is an interesting find, hope it finds a good home!
